Summary

Position 95 was the bottom left stamp in the block of eight with arrow and plate number. The top left stamp (position above this one) was already detached at the time of the Colonel Green sale in 1944.

The block of eight with plate number was purchased at the 1944 Green sale by dealer Y. Souren, acting as agent for Amos Eno. The block of eight was then broken into the unique plate block of four, the bottom arrow pair (this is the left stamp in that pair) and two singles.

The pair was offered in a 1955 H.R. Harmer auction of the Lieutenant Colonel Donald L. Harvey Collection, where it was purchased by dealer Jack Molesworth. Molesworth broke the pair soon after the auction, and removed the bottom sheet selvage.

Its first auction appearance as a single was in a 1966 Corinphila auction, in Europe. It was then offered in 1971 and 1973 Schiff auctions. Current whereabouts are unknown.
