Leon C. Forcheimer (1906?1974) was a prominent philatelist from Texas. In 1972 he was awarded the Tracy Simpson Cup by the U.S. Philatelic Classics Society for Outstanding Service to the Society. The Texas Philatelic Association gives out the Leon C. Forcheimer literature award, which honors individuals who write on philatelic topics.
